METIS
ASCC Group has developed a sophisticated decision and operational support tool to advise and support our clients. Our software product is a SaaS web-based product called METIS, it is modulair based and consists of the modules: Resources, Tracksheet, Oilsheet and Chemsheet. Together with the industry, METIS is continously being improved. Join us and make it yours!
Resources
The Resources module gives an actual overview of available oil spill response resources. Based on characteristics of the resource and the storage location, emergency responders can quickly determine where resources are available. This module can also be helpful on a more strategic level to decide where to locate available oil spill resources.
Tracksheet®
With Tracksheet it is possible to predict the track of spilled oil in order to take effective and efficient counter measures, like protective measures for ecological and economic sensitive areas. Tracksheet is used in both preparation as in actual response.
Oilsheet®
With Oilsheet the amount of oil spilled can easily be calculated on basis of its dimension and/or the Bonn Agreement Appearance Code. Also the fate of the oil, like spreading, transport and dispersion can quickly be predicted, because of the large database with type and characteristics of oil. Oilsheet can be used in training as well as in real accidents.
Chemsheet ®
Chemsheet is an aid to the process of translating a hazard assessment into orderly and systematic information required for decision-making with regard to response to an accidental spill with chemical substances. Up to now various hazard classification systems have been used, some of which are difficult for non-experts to interpret. Chemsheet is very user friendly and easy to handle when the pressure is already high.
